Privacy policy

This policy explains what information the Agreya Legal website handles when you visit it. The website is run by Agreya Legal, A-2/211, Golf Course Road, Sector 17, Dwarka, New Delhi 110078.

What the website collects

The website has no enquiry forms, no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. It does not use tracking cookies, and its fonts and images are served from the website itself, not from third parties.

Two things are recorded when you visit:

• Your acceptance of the disclaimer. When you accept the disclaimer shown on your first visit, a record of that is kept in your own browser for 30 days so that you are not asked again on every page. It is not sent to the firm.
• Server logs. Like most websites, the server keeps a standard log of requests: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser used. These logs are kept for 14 days for security and troubleshooting and are then deleted.

If you contact the firm

If you telephone the firm or send it a message on WhatsApp, the firm will have the details you choose to give it. It uses them only to respond to you and, if it goes on to act for you, to do that work. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Information given to the firm by clients and prospective clients is protected by the firm’s professional duty of confidentiality.

Links to other websites

The “Get directions” link opens a map service run by a third party. That service has its own privacy policy, which applies once you leave this website.

Your rights

You may ask the firm what personal information it holds about you, and ask for it to be corrected or erased, subject to any legal obligation the firm has to keep it. To do so, telephone or write to the firm at the office address above.

Changes to this policy

If the website changes in a way that affects your information, for example if an enquiry form is added, this policy will be updated first.
